VerseDB Events Terms
Last updated: October 18, 2026
1. About These Terms
VerseDB Events ("Events") is the side of VerseDB for the people who run comic conventions, shows, and other comic events, at events.versedb.com. Events lets an organization claim or create its profile, manage its event listings, guests, and exclusives, and see how collectors respond to them. VerseDB is operated by Reggio Digital LLC, a North Carolina limited liability company ("VerseDB," "we," "us," or "our").
These Events Terms add to the VerseDB Terms of Service, which also apply to your use of Events. Where the two conflict, these Events Terms control for Events activity. Section numbers below that name the Terms of Service refer to that document.
If you use Events on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind it to these Terms, and "you" refers to both you and that organization. You accept these Terms when you submit an application to claim or create an organization, and by using Events afterwards. If you do not agree to them, do not use Events.
2. Organization Accounts and Eligibility
To use Events you must hold a VerseDB account in good standing and either claim an existing organization or apply for a new one. You represent that the information you provide about yourself and your organization is accurate and that you are authorized to act on its behalf.
Every application is reviewed by a person at VerseDB. We may ask for more information or documents, and we may decline, suspend, or revoke an organization's profile, its verified badge, or a claim on it at our discretion, including where we cannot confirm the claimed affiliation.
3. Information You Submit When Applying
The documents, business details, and contact information you submit with an application are stored privately and are seen only by the VerseDB staff who review it. We use them to verify the application, to contact you about it, and to keep a record of the decision, and we handle them as described in our Privacy Policy. Do not upload documents you are not entitled to share.
4. Your Team
An organization's owner may give other VerseDB accounts a seat on the organization. You are responsible for what the people you add do in Events on the organization's behalf, and for removing a seat when that person should no longer have one.
5. Event Listings
You are responsible for the events you list and for keeping them accurate: names, dates, venues, hours, prices, guests, and links. When an event is postponed, moved, or canceled, update its listing promptly. Collectors plan travel and purchases around what you publish.
Event pages are part of the VerseDB catalog. Where you allow it, other members may suggest corrections, which go through VerseDB's review like any other edit, and our editors may correct a listing that is wrong or incomplete.
6. Guests, Appearances, and Exclusives
Only announce a guest or appearance that the guest has agreed to and that you are entitled to make public. Announcing a guest may notify the members who follow that creator, so take a guest down as soon as an appearance is canceled.
When you link an exclusive comic or variant to your event, you represent that it is offered at or for that event and that the details you give, such as the print run, are accurate to the best of your knowledge.
7. Tickets, Vendors, and Third-Party Links
VerseDB does not sell tickets, badges, tables, or booths, and does not process payments for any event. Ticket, vendor, and artist alley links lead to sites you or others run, under their own terms. We are not a party to any sale or application made through them, and refunds, cancellations, and complaints about them are between the buyer and the event.
A listing on VerseDB, including a verified badge, is not an endorsement of an event or a guarantee that it will take place as described.
8. Content You Provide and the License You Grant
You keep the rights in the logos, images, descriptions, and other material you add to Events. You represent that you own that material or have permission to use it, and that it does not infringe anyone's rights or break any law.
You grant VerseDB a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, resize, display, and distribute that material across our site, applications, newsletters, notifications, and social accounts, to present and promote your organization, its events, and VerseDB. The license lasts while the material is on VerseDB, except that past events stay in the catalog as part of the historical record, and we may keep backups and records for legal and dispute purposes.
9. Audience Numbers
Events shows your organization counts such as followers and clicks on your links. They are provided for your information, may be estimates, and may change as we filter automated traffic. They do not identify the members behind them, and you may not use Events to collect personal information about VerseDB members.
10. Review, Moderation, and Removal
We may edit, hide, or remove a listing, guest, exclusive, or other material, or disable an organization's access to Events, at any time, including for inaccurate or misleading information, a valid notice under Section 5 of the Terms of Service, content that breaches its Section 11, or an unresponsive organization.
11. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to Events, with or without notice, for breach of these Terms or the Terms of Service. On termination your organization's events may remain in the catalog without your management. Sections 6 and 8 of these Terms, and Section 9 of the Terms of Service, survive termination to the extent stated in them.
12. Disclaimers, Liability, and Disputes
Events is part of VerseDB, so the disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification in Section 9 of the Terms of Service, and the dispute resolution and arbitration terms in its Section 14, apply to Events and to these Terms.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will tell the people on each organization's team by email or with a notice in Events before the changes take effect. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
Your continued use of Events after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to them, stop using Events before they take effect.
